Classes
Having a baby is a huge change in a woman’s life! It not only changes your body, but also your mind, your relationship with your partner, and even how you see the world!
I teach holistic childbirth education where each woman finds her unique way of birthing. Rooted in philosophies (birth is instinctive), you will come away feeling confident about your upcoming birth. You will also better understand your ability to birth and how to make choices for YOU.
These classes provide evidence-based information for you to feel informed, empowered, and ready. Class topics include: optimal pelvic positions for pregnancy and labor, overcoming fears of childbirth, consenting to choices in labor, stages of labor, labor positions, comfort measures, postpartum recovery, about your newborn, breastfeeding, and more! Many individuals find that these classes give you more information and personal insight than a traditional hospital-based class.
Classes can be started anytime in your pregnancy, and they are not just for first-time parents. Moms birthing again have found the information to be beneficial in filling the gaps or wanting a different birth experience. These classes are most beneficial when taken with your partner, or labor support person. Classes will allow you and your partner to enter into conversations with each other about decisions to be made for your labor, but also discuss those early parenting days.
Classes are taught in a group setting or private class for you and your partner/support person. Interested in setting up a private class? Please use the contact page to reach out and schedule. To register for a group class, please use the registration button below.

Testimonials
“I’m so thankful for this class and thankful for you. You were a guiding light.” -Phil S.
“My goal was to have a great grasp on the process and stages of labor so that I could stay grounded and empowered for my unmedicated birth. My partner E.M. hoped to learn how he could be most supportive through labor (physically, mentally, emotionally). Your class covered it all!” -Heather A.
“Finding a class that included postpartum was key for feeling mentally prepared to bring baby home. Thank you for including so much about my personal recovery time and insight into my newborn.” -Megan P.
“I thought the classes were super thorough and tailored to our interests/concerns. I can’t think of anything that felt like it wasn’t covered in enough detail.” -Jessica R.
“Jenny is extremely knowledgeable and supportive! In her birthing education courses she helps you explore your own thoughts and beliefs around birth while offering various perspectives so that you can make your own informed choices without any judgement. I also love how much she includes your partner in discussion. My husband feels way more prepared to support me during birth! I feel more empowered and educated on pregnancy, labor, medical practices, postpartum and so much more because of her classes. She has taken a lot of fear and intimidation of labor out of my mind and put me at ease by helping me trust myself and my body’s ability to do what it was meant to do!” – Cristina G.
