Doula Support
As a doula, my goal is to support you, as you are, in this transformational birth journey. Not looking at just your moments in labor, but your pregnancy journey and postpartum season of growth as a whole! I intend to intuit your needs and serve as a sounding board for the range of emotions you might feel leading up to your labor, during labor and during the sacred postpartum period.
I want you to feel mentally and physically ready for your birth experience. Ready with your intended birth plan, and also flexible to how birth unfolds.
I provide evidence-based research to your questions that come up during your pregnancy. I will educate you on your options for your labor so that your birth wishes may be better met in your birth setting (home, birth center, or hospital). Most importantly I will help you discover any fears surrounding childbirth because fears play a huge part in how labor unfolds. I support you from the time hired, through your fourth trimester and even check-in and answer questions beyond that timeframe.
Who I Support
I support women of all ages, all backgrounds, both first time moms and those birthing again. Those who want an unmedicated birth, or those planning to utilize an epidural, etc.
As a doula, and mother, I will help you prepare both mentally and physically, and feel confident about your transition to motherhood. I will offer gentle guidance and reassurance that YOU can do this!
A birth doula is a person who comes alongside you to provide support during your birth journey. Support comes in many forms and women have been with one another, during birth, for centuries! One mama to another mama. In fact, evidence proves that women can have better birth outcomes with the support of a doula.
What about the partner?
Some partners feel confident in supporting you during labor, but others feel apprehensive about the birth process.
I support partners by preparing them for the process of birth, but also by offering reassurance and providing insight during labor. I want you and your partner to feel very connected during your birth experience, therefore I intuit your combined needs during your labor and delivery. Most importantly, I hope to open up lines of communication for you and your partner, before the birth of your baby/babies to discuss topics surrounding becoming parents or adding another child to your family.
As a doula, my hope is that you and your birth companion have a positive birth experience with strong memories of sharing this unfolding birth journey.

Testimonials
“Jenny provided constant support, listened and fulfilled all needs. She kept me calm, suggested when I should try different laboring positions and played comforting music that helped get me in a good head space for labor.” -Courtney H.
“Jenny is compassionate, calming and brings a sense of peace in the way she listens and validates with her responses and non-judgmental feedback. She used body-work to help progress my labor, made sure I was well-nourished and kept the environment calm. During and after pregnancy, she stayed in touch and checked in frequently. She was also amazing with support and feedback during my early labor at home.” -Gina M.
“We worked with Jenny long distance throughout pregnancy and during labor and the attention and care we received was amazing. She really took the time to get to know our concerns about pregnancy, labor, and recovery, and tailored classes our unique needs and labor preferences. Her classes helped us feel prepared and competent when discussing birth plans with our doctor. And while she wasn’t physically with us during labor she was readily available by text and FaceTime whenever we needed her throughout the whole process. She even went above and beyond to coordinate a local volunteer doula to be with us in the delivery room. To top it all off she was such a positive and motivating force to have in our corner. We couldn’t have done it without her and can’t recommend Jenny enough!” -Jess R.
“Jenny was so wonderful and helpful during my pregnancy and through labor. I had a difficult labor and I’m thankful to have had her support and guidance. I’m also very grateful for her being available during postpartum when I had questions that needed answered and her recommendations for natural remedies and ways to help my recovery. Thank you Jenny so much for everything!” -Keyairra S.
“Jenny is an absolute joy to work with! Her childbirth education classes were informative and practical and her support during labor was invaluable! She gently guided me through different movements to help my body during contractions. There is no way I would have had the stamina without her suggestions and support. She showed my spouse ways to be involved, too, so the birthing experience was very connecting for us. Jenny has great intuition and always knew when to give us space and when to be hands on and present. Jenny is a very safe person, which was helpful for as intense of an experience as labor. Jenny even stayed after our son was delivered to make sure we had what we needed so we could rest as a new family of three. My spouse and I went back and forth on if having a doula was necessary (especially because we were giving birth with midwives), but we both agree that hiring Jenny was the best decision.” -Megan P.
“Jenny was amazing before during and after our birth. I was able to cope with any labor pains easily because of her coaching. During the labor she hardly left our side, but was never intrusive. She helped us through our unexpected hospital transfer from our home birth and continues to check in. Highly recommend!” -Melissa F.

Jenny was there for us every step of the way, ensuring we felt empowered and cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide during such a significant moment in our lives.” -Victor O.
“Jenny was my wife’s doula for the birth of our first child and I can not imagine a better experience. She was extremely responsive throughout the pregnancy and frequently reached out to see how things were going. From the perspective of an expectant father, Jenny helped not only my wife through labor but also myself. Her coaching allowed me to be able to support my wife through pregnancy and labor in the best possible way. Thank you Jenny!” -Zach D.
